WORSHIP MUSIC A beautiful Allen Organ as well as a Yamaha Disklavier Grand Piano support our sixteen member adult Chancel Choir with uplifting and wonderful music filling our santuary weekly. Frequent guest musicians and talented vocalists complement our weekly musical program. Our current resident guest musicians are Madeline Christensen on flute and David Keller on cello. A variety of music, by both contemporary and classical composers, are featured weekly at our worship services. Special concert programs are given throughout the year by our resident musicians and guest artists. |

Madeline Christensen currently attends the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University, where she is pursuing degrees in music education and flute performance. She studies with Donald Peck, principal emeritus of the Chicago Symphony |

Orchestra. Madeline was a four-year member of the Elgin Youth Symphony Orchestra, recently held the position of second flute and piccolo with the Skokie Valley Symphony Orchestra, and currently plays with the Palatine Community Band. Madeline is an active performer, private lesson instructor, and music minister in the Chicagoland area. Madeline is the 2008 recipient of the Union League Civic and Arts Foundation Classical Scholarship, a 2009 North Shore Musicians Club Scholarship prizewinner, and the 2009 recipient of the Farwell Award given by the Musicians Club of Women of Chicago. |
